“There is nothing quite like the joy of working hard on a piece of writing and then seeing it through to publication,” Ms. Hilbert says.
“First, the Young Adult novel Jump Rope Girl, and now seeing my haikus appearing in finished form in this collection entitled Another Fine Day has me feeling so pleased just knowing I did what it took to carry the projects to completion.”
Ms. Hilbert finds great satisfaction in exposing truths in the stories and poems she crafts, ensuring that there’ll be plenty more to come.
